June is Deana’s therapy dog in training. As a puppy, she was found with her litter mates in a ditch in New Mexico. They were all covered in fleas and ticks.

After recovering, June and her litter mates were sent to Boulder, CO, where she was fostered with a loving family through Brighter Days Dog Rescue. There, she faced another challenge—a bad case of ringworm that left her with scars around her nose.

When she was better, Deana and her family adopted June (named after country singer June Carter Cash) and she is now a loving therapy dog in training, bringing comfort and joy to everyone she meets.

In her free time, June loves trail running, cuddles, and playing with her best friend Bella, a poodle mix.

June's journey is a reminder of the power of healing, love, and second chances and she's here to offer the same compassion and care during walking therapy sessions.
